Motus Commercials has 2 approved DAF Truck dealership located in Hull in East Yorkshire and is on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Trucks Sales Executive.  As our new Colleague, you will join our friendly team which will see you working 5 days a week 08.30 to 17.30 which equates to 42.25 hours per week with alternate Saturdays 08.30am – 13.00pm  within our Brilliant Team in our Truck Sales department.


This role carrys an OTE of up to £50,000 P/A with a competitive basic salary


Main duties will be:


Motus Commercials require a Truck Area  Sales Manager colleague to join the friendly team.  You will be based between our DAF dealerships in Hull and North Yorkshire and required to deliver both the customers and companies’ expectations.  We Are performance Driven For Excellent Service and would expect you to take pride in what you do as a brand leading industry professional at all times, with a level of service and integrity being paramount.


  1. To generate gross profit contributions from sales of the company’s goods and services to the minimum target levels.
  2. To visit and build relationships with both existing and new prospective customers of the company.
  3. Ensure all vehicles and services supplied in accordance with legal, contractual, manufacturer and customer specifications and requirements in expected time.
  4. Ensure accurate records of transactions are maintained.
  5. Ensure that vehicles offered in part exchange are correctly appraised and underwritten by manager responsible and the paperwork is in order.
  6. To always deal with all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  7. Manage working time effectively for best results and service.
  8. Provide knowledge and support to colleagues as required to improve company profit opportunities.
  9. Participate as required in marketing and sales promotion activities and events, some held on evenings and weekends.
  10. Continually develop and maintain high level of product knowledge for company goods and services industry
  11. To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
  12. Confident but personable, Comfortable at Cold Calling – In person and telephone, Commercial acumen, creativity and strong relationship building and administration are key traits for this role
  13. Knowledge of retail and fleet truck operators in Hull and East Yorkshire.
  14. Truck sales experience would be advantageous but will consider sales professional with experience similar industries.
